Avenue Q

Avenue Q

AVENUE Q had its first South Korean season at the Charlotte Theatre in August/September 2013.

AVENUE Q ingeniously combines a cast of humans and puppet who tackle subjects such as dating, racism, internet porn, being gay and finding your purpose in life. AVENUE Q started its life in 2003 with an off-Broadway, where it was extended four times following rave reviews. It then transferred to Broadway in July 2003 to critical acclaim. To the delight of all involved, the show went on win three of the top 2004 Tony Awards®: Best Musical, Best Original Score of a Musical and Best Book of a Musical.

Brash, vulgar and just downright funny – you’ve never seen a musical like AVENUE Q before! The characters on this street in New York are out of work, out of luck and desperately seeking purpose in life. With songs such as ‘Everyone’s A Little Bit Racist’, ‘If You Were Gay’ and ‘The Internet is for Porn’, AVENUE Q is the most charming and cheeky musical – perfect for a fun night out for couples, mates and anyone who occasionally thinks life sucks!
